Our skilled physiotherapists use hands-on techniques to assess, diagnose, and treat restrictions in movement. These techniques are specifically tailored to address your needs and goals to restore movement, restore function, and improve performance. Techniques may include myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue massage, tissue distraction, joint and nerve mobilization, and manipulation.
Taping techniques can change the way you move, support your joints, improve movement patterns, and decrease pain with movement. Taping can be used to compliment your treatment as we work toward achieving your goals. It can also be used to optimize movement and performance for sports and activities.
It's hard to stay at our peak performance whether it's walking around the block, running a race, or competing in sports. That's why we've designed our Performance Analysis service. Strive practitioners will review your medical history and past injuries, discuss your goals, and analyze your performance using functional movement screening, running analysis and other tests focused on your goals. Following the analysis, Strive will write an individualized report to support your optimal performance. This report will be available electronically to share with all the members of your healthcare team. It will also provide a baseline of your function. Should an accident happen and you become injured, this baseline will help us get you back quickly and safely. Strive will update the Performance Analysis on a biannual or annual basis to continuously track your achievements and reflect new goals.
At Strive, we understand that our customers have busy schedules and coming into our clinic for an appointment can be challenging. Through the use of technology, our skilled physiotherapists can continue to support your injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance wherever you are. Using virtual face-to-face programs such as FaceTime and Skype, Strive practitioners will connect with you to address your concerns and observe progress towards your goals. After your appointment, a summary will be available electronically to share with all the members of your healthcare team.
